About the role

Meyer Utility Structures, a subsidiary of Arcosa, Inc., is seeking a Control Process Operator for our Tulsa, OK plant operation (1st Shift). We are an industry leader in engineering design and fabrication of concrete, lattice, and tubular steel structures for transmission, distribution, and substation applications.

Responsibilities

• Operate any or all of the following machines:
  • 20' Break Press
  • 26’ Break Press
  • 60' Break Press
  • Plasma Table
  • Kinetic (Drill Press)
• Form and/or cut materials into predesignated shapes and sizes
• Operate overhead cranes to move materials safely
• Troubleshoot equipment and make basic adjustments
• Make general decisions as to quality, tolerances, and operation sequence
• Follow all safety rules and practices
• Other job duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a 20’ or larger break press, Plasma Table, or Drill Press, preferably breaking and/or cutting steel up to 2” thick
• Ability to proficiently read blueprints and verify dimensional requirements
• Ability to maintain reliable and predictable good attendance
• Ability to stand throughout the day, climb on/off equipment, and lift materials in excess of 50 pounds regularly
• A high level of dependability, a great attitude, and an ability to work well with a team towards achieving a common goal
