About the role
We're looking for Entry Level Machine Operators to join our Sealing team. This role reports to the Sealing Supervisor and works out of our Jersey City office.
Schedule
Shift 2: Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm ET
Responsibilities
- Seal coins, sports cards, non-sports cards, and event tickets
- Learn various sizes of gasket sizes and card holders
- Maintain knowledge of coins and sports cards
- Crack-out and re-seal coins, sports cards, non-sports cards according to changes
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Computer skills needed, 10-key is a plus
- Ability to follow directions, work well with others, and handle delicate items with the utmost care
- Able to lift 10 pounds or more
Physical Requirements
- Bending and Twisting: Bending neck/waist, twisting neck/waist, and squatting.
- Computer Use: Typing, mouse work, and sitting and looking at a computer potentially for long periods of time.
- Exposure to Machinery: Exposure to machinery noise, which may include noise from forklifts, injection presses, or other machinery.
- Hand Use: Regular hand use for various tasks.
- Hearing Requirements: Ability to hear alarms, signals, and verbal instructions.
- Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 25 pounds.
- Sitting or Standing: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
Pay
The reasonable estimated hourly rate for this position is $18. Actual compensation varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience, and skill set.
