Job Description

The Southeastern Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies (SEAFWA) is offering scholarships to cover the cost of attending its annual conference for college students or recent graduates interested in natural resources or conservation fields.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the C.A.R.E. Fellow Workshop to learn soft skills like networking, resume writing, and elevator speeches.
  • Attend the Careers in Conservation panel and the agency round table to gain insights into employment opportunities and network with professionals from SEAFWA's member states and federal agencies.
  • Potentially present a poster or oral presentation at SEAFWA, with abstracts opening by the end of May.

Required Qualifications or Skills

  • Currently enrolled in a college program or recently graduated (within the past two years).
  • Pursuing a career in natural resources or conservation-related fields such as wildlife conservation, game management, community engagement, law enforcement, etc.
  • Interest in attending the SEAFWA Conference in Nashville, TN.
