Seafood Manager - Madison

Main Responsibilities

• Oversight of daily operations focusing on customer service, freshness, and department readiness
• Providing friendly, courteous, and helpful service to customers and responding to their requests and special orders
• Collaborating with seafood clerks for training, scheduling, and task assignments to support department coverage
• Executing merchandising programs, displays, and pricing according to company guidelines
• Preparing seafood items such as cutting, weighing, wrapping, labeling, and stocking displays
• Maintaining clean, organized work areas, including cases, prep areas, and equipment
• Monitoring product freshness and removing unsellable or expired items
• Managing ordering, inventory levels, and receiving shipments to maintain in-stock conditions
• Tracking and logging required temperature checks for coolers and freezers
• Maintaining department signage and communication updates
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, food safety requirements, and operational standards
