Job Description
This position will perform some or all of the following duties, concentrating on early-phase (concept, requirements, and design) activities of the Systems-Engineering Development Lifecycle:
- Lead the development of new system concepts by transforming stakeholder needs, acquired through documentation and solicitation, into easily reviewable technical approaches.
- Experience with using MBSE approaches and Tools (e.g. Cameo and/or tableau).
- Perform requirements elicitation and decomposition using behavioral artifacts such as use cases, activity diagrams, and sequence diagrams to convey understanding of the required behaviors and performance of the system under development.
- Lead the development of physical and logical system models capturing the system under development utilizing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches and tools.
- Lead system interface development, as captured in Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and Interface Design Descriptions (IDDs), by converting system and interface requirements into message-level details sufficient to coordinate interface development.
- Support formal and informal engineering technical reviews.
- Create, review, and critique interface documents, system requirements, verification documentation, architectural documentation, and engineering estimates.
- Interface with key stakeholders, including the MDA customer and working-level counterparts, as-required.
- Participate in Agile development planning and execution, including iteration planning and status reporting.
The Work Requirements include Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and enhancing critical missile defense technologies.
Please Note: Work will be performed in a closed area. This position is a 100% in-office position.
