About the role

Provides direct patient care of residents. Assists with baths, transfers, feeding, and all other patient care needs.

Responsibilities

• Assists with baths, transfers, feeding, and all other patient care needs.
• Demonstrates knowledge of direct patient care skills.
• Demonstrates understanding of the needs of the geriatric population.
• Demonstrates knowledge of care plans and treatment plans.
• Knowledge of patient care equipment.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Pennsylvania Nursing Assistant certification; BLS certification within 6 months.

Qualifications

Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of direct patient care skills. Must demonstrate understanding of the needs of the geriatric population. Must demonstrate knowledge of care plans and treatment plans. Knowledge of patient care equipment.
