SDS RX Area Manager

The Account Manager oversees logistics operations within a designated region, ensuring efficient and effective service to customers. Key responsibilities include:

1. Oversee day-to-day logistics operations, including transport, warehousing, and distribution.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with a broad base of customers, addressing their needs and providing tailored solutions.
3. Manage, train, and mentor regional staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
4. Set and monitor KPIs for the region, ensuring operational targets are met and identifying areas for improvement.
5. Develop and execute regional logistics strategies aligned with company goals, considering market trends and customer requirements.
6. Ensure all logistics operations comply with local regulations, company policies, and safety standards.

Requirements include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or 4 years equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and distribution practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proven ability to manage a broad base of customers and maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Analytical skills to monitor performance metrics and optimize operations.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in logistics software and systems.
