About the role
This position is contingent upon capturing program award(s) and obtaining and maintaining associated business and/or customer funding.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the design, development, and implementation of flight systems software applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable software products.
Requirements
- T1: Associate Embedded Software Engineer - Bachelor's degree in STEM with 1 year of related experience.
- T2: Embedded Software Engineer - Bachelor's degree in STEM with 2 years of related experience, or Master’s degree in STEM with 0 years of related experience.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen with active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope.
- Understanding of software engineering with C/C++ in a Linux environment.
- Understanding of UML and software design concepts.
- Understanding of software requirements process.
Skills
- Knowledge of full lifecycle software development.
- Knowledge of a real time operating system.
- Experience in embedded software development.

Pay
Annual salary range: $65,800.00 - $98,800.00 (Primary Level) / $79,300.00 - $118,900.00 (Secondary Level).
Schedule
The standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
