About the role

This position is contingent upon capturing program award(s) and obtaining and maintaining associated business and/or customer funding.

Responsibilities

  • Aid in the design, development, and implementation of flight systems software applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable software products.

Requirements

  • T1: Associate Embedded Software Engineer - Bachelor's degree in STEM with 1 year of related experience.
  • T2: Embedded Software Engineer - Bachelor's degree in STEM with 2 years of related experience, or Master’s degree in STEM with 0 years of related experience.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizen with active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope.
  • Understanding of software engineering with C/C++ in a Linux environment.
  • Understanding of UML and software design concepts.
  • Understanding of software requirements process.

Skills

  • Knowledge of full lifecycle software development.
  • Knowledge of a real time operating system.
  • Experience in embedded software development.

Pay

Annual salary range: $65,800.00 - $98,800.00 (Primary Level) / $79,300.00 - $118,900.00 (Secondary Level).

Schedule

The standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
