SDR Team Manager
About the role
The SDR Team Manager role at Canonical involves managing and mentoring a successful team of 2-10 Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) or Business Development Representatives (BDRs), and maintaining a multi-million dollar pipeline. The goal is to develop outstanding sales professionals with high integrity, high empathy, and a rigorous work ethic. This role is part of a sales development organization that also serves as a sales academy.
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a team of 2-10 SDRs / BDRs
- Maintain a multi-million dollar pipeline
- Develop and train SDRs to become outstanding tech sales professionals
- Use data to drive team activities and continuous improvement
- Experiment with new outbound approaches to adapt to market changes
Requirements
- Excellent academic results at school and university
- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Business or STEM
- Knowledge and passion for business development, sales, and technology
- Track record of bringing exceptional outbound sales development results
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement
- Creative problem-solving and cross-team collaboration
- Leadership experience
- Able to use data to drive team activities and continuous improvement

Pay
We consider geographical location, experience, and performance in shaping compensation worldwide. We revisit compensation annually (and more often for graduates and associates) to ensure we recognize outstanding performance. In addition to base pay, we offer a performance-driven annual bonus or commission.

We offer a distributed work environment with twice-yearly team sprints in person.
