SDET Backend
Responsibilities
- Work with your scrum team to move quality to the beginning of the process, and to coordinate quality activities throughout the epic life cycle.
- Demonstrate overall dedication to the wider WI Quality Engineering Team by bringing the outside in and helping keep WI Quality Engineering at the forefront of Quality Engineering innovation.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Software Development or proven relevant experience
- 2+ years of Big Data, Data Lake or Data Warehouse experience
- 6+ years of Software Quality Assurance or solid experience
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Expert knowledge of application/software development, QA principles, and agile methodology
- Experience in retirement plan administration or financial services (plus)
- Knowledge of data pipeline testing (a distinct advantage)
- Ability to work effectively with product development, external teams, and management
- Knowledge of CI/CD Pipelines
- ISTQB Certification (nice to have)
- Strong SQL skills plus Java and Python development experience
- Experience in Software Engineer in test automation of RESTful services (Cucumber, JUnit, Selenium, RestAssured, Git, Gradle, Maven)
- Data Engineer working with the latest Big Data technologies and tools (Snowflake, Airflow, AWS, Azure)
- Experienced in Big Data Reporting Tools (OBIEE / Tableau / Power BI)
- Experience with ETL Data Pipeline testing of Data Warehouse platforms; exposure to iCEDQ test tool preferred
- Proven experience with the software development process including analysis, design, coding, system and user testing, problem resolution and planning
- Proven communication and social skills
- Build an end-to-end test strategy, determine exit criteria, contribute to the automation roadmap, and have strong awareness of audit compliance commitments
Qualifications:
- Daily involvement in Quality Engineering, analysis, development, or DevOps stories as part of a squad
- Adequate agile experience to size stories and assist with sprint planning
- Collaboration with squad resources to ensure testing efforts are completed by the team

Salary: $64 - 65 per hour
