Job Summary

Strong knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java
Good understanding of web services testing and familiarity with RestAssured
Familiarity with Jenkins as a CI tool and its configuration
Experience with Oracle & SQL databases
Collaborative individual with the ability to influence others and build strong partner relationships
Hands-on experience driving innovation processes from end-to-end
Background in DevOps environments preferred
Location: Durham, North Carolina
Type: Contract
Salary: $61 - 62 per hour
Hours: 8am to 5pm
Education: Bachelor's degree

Responsibilities

• Develops original and creative technical solutions to ongoing development efforts.
• Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for multiple platforms.
• Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.
• Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.
• Affords assistance in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.
• Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.
• Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.
• Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.
• Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.
• Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education/experience
• 5+ years of software product experience working on software development
• 5+ years of relevant technical experience and experience in test automation
• Proven experience in Agile/Scrum methodology
• Strong hands-on experience with crafting and maintaining testing frameworks like Selenium (TestNG), Playwright, Karate
