ScrumMaster / PM (Charlotte)

About the role

Contract role in NYC with hybrid onsite requirements. The ideal candidate will serve as a strong Scrum Master with project management experience, capable of operating interchangeably between the two roles. Middle/back office experience (regulatory, settlement, reporting exposure) is required. Strong transformation experience and the ability to lead large-scale change initiatives are critical.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.)
• Remove impediments and coach teams on Agile/Scrum best practices
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to refine backlogs and prioritize work
• Drive continuous improvement and process optimization
• Support project management tasks, including planning, tracking, and reporting
• Engage with middle/back office teams to address regulatory, settlement, and reporting challenges
• Lead and support large-scale transformation initiatives

Requirements

• Strong Scrum Master experience with a track record of coaching Agile teams
• Project management experience, with the ability to operate interchangeably as a Scrum Master or PM
• Middle/back office experience (regulatory, settlement, reporting exposure)
• Proven ability to drive large-scale change initiatives
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, JQL, and Co-Pilot
• Assertive and upbeat personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) certification
• Scrum certification (e.g., CSM, PSM)
