Scrum Master - TS/SCI w/Polygraph required

Responsibilities
- Manage the project’s schedule, budget & staffing;
- Act as the project’s scrum master & primary liaison between the development team and the Government Project Manager and Product Owner;
- Implement/maintain scrum practices & facilitate scrum ceremonies;
- Maintain ticket-tracking & scrum boards;
- Work with product owner to prioritize development work;
- Work with team to identify/implement efficiencies and improvements;
- Remove impediments for the Scrum team or escalate them to someone who can shield team from outside interference;
- Coach others on Agile ideology and Scrum best practices;
- Monitor the Enterprise for O&M changes to data sources, certs, integrated tools, etc, and communicate those changes to the development team.
Requirements
- Ensure project is following the appropriate Enterprise technical directives;
- Help prioritize and manage implementation of that work when needed;
- Help gather, analyze, document, prioritize, and manage development requirements;
- Provide regular project updates and technical briefings to government leadership and governance boards;
- Monitor & help maintain the application’s security accreditation;
- Respond to data calls, coordinating with the appropriate team members;
- Support the application’s Governance Board: Coordinate meetings;
- Prepare & distribute agendas, slides, and meeting minutes;
- Provide on-going communication to Board members as needed;
- Document project processes within the appropriate DevOps tools;
- Provide virtual and live application demos and demo-style training to application’s general and power users;
- Aid with customer support, customer business process consulting, template creation/maintenance, maintenance of application help documentation, and testing, as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
- Experience: 8+ years
- Technical Skills: Understands and facilitates Scrum ceremonies; Daily Scrum; Backlog Refinement; Sprint Review; Sprint Planning; Sprint Retrospective; Removes impediments for the Scrum team or escalates them to someone that can.

Skills
- Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
- Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated on-the-job experience managing a software development project; Experience as a team member on a software development team using Agile methodology; Certified Scrum Master (CSM); Superb technical writing and oral communication skills, specifically in communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience; Requirements-gathering experience, specifically the ability to listen to requirements, translate them into “tech speak”, and help identify solutions; Experience with customer-specific DevOps systems for security accreditation, project documentation, & issue (ticket) prioritization/tracking/management; Demonstrated on-the-job experience exhibiting analytical skills and troubleshooting technical issues; Demonstrated on-the-job experience working independently as well as in a team environment; Experience providing formal and/or informal technical training; Demonstrated on-the-job experience positively interacting with customers, users and management
Benefits
The likely salary range for this position is $162,037 - $219,227. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
