About the role

This is a 6 month contract-to-hire role as a Scrum Master in Fort Wayne, IN.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Agile Scrum practices and ensure teams effectively deliver high-quality products and services.
  • Serve as a servant leader, coach, and facilitator, helping teams remove impediments, improve processes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, and development teams to maximize value delivery while maintaining Agile principles.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.
  • Coach and mentor teams on Agile values, principles, and Scrum best practices.
  • Remove obstacles and impediments that impact team productivity and delivery.
  • Partner with Product Owners to ensure the product backlog is well-defined, prioritized, and understood by the team.
  • Promote transparency through Agile metrics, dashboards, and reporting.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
  • Guide teams in continuously improving processes, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Support organizational Agile transformation initiatives and Agile maturity improvements.
  • Ensure adherence to Scrum frameworks and Agile methodologies.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Identify and address risks and dependencies that could impact project outcomes.
  • Track sprint progress and assist teams in achieving sprint goals.

Requirements

  • W2 Only (Greencard or USC).
  • Top Skills: Scrum Master, Servant Leadership, Facilitation, Conflict Resolution.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, coach and mentor teams, remove obstacles, partner with Product Owners, promote transparency, foster a collaborative team environment, guide teams in continuous improvement, support organizational Agile transformation, ensure adherence to Scrum frameworks, facilitate communication, identify and address risks, track sprint progress.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr.
