Scrum Master

About the role

The Scrum Master is responsible for facilitating the Scrum framework within a team, ensuring that the team adheres to Scrum principles and practices. They act as a coach and facilitator, helping the team to improve their processes and deliver high-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure the team follows Scrum guidelines and practices, including sprints, burndown charts, and sprint goals.
• Resolve impediments that hinder the team's progress and ensure they are addressed promptly.
• Coach the team on Agile methodologies and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure they are met within the Scrum framework.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Scrum Master or project management roles.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Asana.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams towards achieving common goals.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile project management.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Skills

• Scrum Master certification preferred.
• Experience with Kanban boards and other Agile frameworks.
• Good understanding of software development processes and tools.
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
