About the role

We’re seeking a Scrum Master to support multiple Agile product teams by driving Scrum best practices, facilitating key ceremonies, and partnering closely with product leadership to deliver high-quality outcomes. This role is hands-on in Jira Software and Jira Align, with a strong focus on Agile metrics, dependency management, and continuous improvement across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Scrum Master for 2–3 Agile product teams (up to 10 team members per team), enabling consistent delivery and team health
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and PI Planning
  • Partner with product leadership to define objectives, decompose initiatives into features and user stories, and ensure work is prioritized effectively
  • Lead backlog refinement, estimation, sprint planning, and capacity planning to support predictable execution
  • Identify, track, and drive resolution of cross-team dependencies and delivery risks
  • Monitor Agile metrics and team performance, delivering clear reporting and actionable insights to product leadership
  • Maintain and optimize Agile workflows using Jira Software and Jira Align
  • Coach teams on Agile and Scrum best practices, strengthening team maturity and continuous improvement
  • Review and refine team working agreements to improve collaboration, accountability, and delivery effectiveness
  • Foster a collaborative, transparent, high-performing environment through servant leadership, mentoring, and conflict resolution

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum principles, practices, and ceremonies
  • Experience serving as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach supporting Agile product development teams
  • Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coordinating work across multiple Scrum teams
  • Strong proficiency with Jira Software and Jira Align
  • Experience with Agile metrics, reporting, and data analysis to support delivery decisions
  • Hands-on experience with backlog refinement, story estimation, capacity planning, and dependency management
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to coach teams, resolve conflicts, and drive continuous improvement
  • Strong servant leadership mindset with the ability to build trust and influence without direct authority
  • Ability to be on camera for video calls and present candidate ID during the interview process
  • US citizens only
  • Ability to be onsite periodically (2–3 days quarterly); candidates should be within commutable distance of a local branch location

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a scaled Agile environment (SAFe or similar)
  • Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Certified Scrum Coach (CSC), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP), or equivalent
  • Experience supporting product leadership with Agile planning, roadmap execution, and delivery forecasting
  • Strong coaching and mentoring experience helping teams increase Agile maturity
  • Experience facilitating PI Planning and coordinating work across multiple Agile teams
