Liaison & Communication

Serve as liaison between technical and non-technical departments. Communicate with other management, developers, product owners and technical support specialists on product issues.

Development

  • Organize and facilitate project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum-related meetings.
  • Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress.
  • Maintain process documentation.
  • Ensure the team members are practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility.

Application Support

  • Assist as needed with backlog maintenance and reviewing quality of user stories.
  • Aid in internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
  • Aid in prioritization and resolution of defects / bugs.

Management

  • Participate proactively in developing and maintaining team working agreement, standards, and tools.
  • Develop and manage Team performance metrics, leveraging them to drive efficiencies in the process.
  • Identify and remove impediments, prevent distractions.
  • Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution.
  • Empower the team to self-organize.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Four-year college diploma or university degree in computer systems design or computer science, and/or 10 years equivalent work experience.
  • Must be a Certified Scrum Master, Scaled Agile (SAFe) experience and certification is a plus Scrum Master or Business Analyst Experience Is Preferred.
  • Understanding of agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures.
  • Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Understanding of organization's development platform and languages.
  • Ability to understand technical issues.
