What You'll Do

• Member Service & Relationship Building
• Process a variety of financial transactions accurately and efficiently
• Welcome and engage every member with a warm, professional attitude
• Conduct needs-based conversations to identify products and services that best fit members' financial goals
• Educate members on digital banking tools and self-service channels
• Follow up with members to ensure satisfaction and uncover additional opportunities to help
• Support branch and individual sales goals through referrals and cross-selling that genuinely benefit members
• Operations & Compliance
• Balance cash drawers and support end-of-day branch balancing activities
• Prepare account-opening and credit card documentation accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Protect member information and company assets by following all security procedures
• Maintain knowledge of products, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including BSA compliance
• Aid team members with research and resolving balancing discrepancies
• Participate in branch meetings, community events, and sales initiatives

Required Qualifications

• A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• At least 12 months of retail and/or customer service experience, or 6 months of experience in a financial institution or similar industry
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Cash handling experience
• Sales or cross-selling experience
• Experience in a retail banking or credit union environment
• Familiarity with Symitar
