About the Role

As part of our Medical Scribe program, you play a vital role in supporting physicians and healthcare providers while gaining first-hand knowledge and practical experience in the field. This opportunity offers:

Responsibilities

  • Work 2-3 shifts per week (including weekends and holidays).
  • Stand, walk, and follow a physician for extended periods.
  • Work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
  • Maintain a responsible and mature demeanor with a passion for medicine.
  • Demonstrate excellent follow-through and self-motivation.

Requirements

  • Strong writing skills and quick, accurate typing speed.
  • Experience with medical terminology, human anatomy, and human physiology is preferred.
  • One-year commitment at the assigned site (not a summer position).

The Practice

Natividad Medical Center – Salinas, California

  • Level II Trauma Center and County Hospital.
  • 120-bed facility with an 18-bed Emergency Department.
  • Annual volume of 60,000 patients with a 9% admit rate.
  • Patient mix: 60% Spanish-speaking and 25% pediatric.
  • Full call panel, excellent nursing staff, and Vituity scribe support available.
