Scribe - Emergency Medicine - Arrowhead Regional Medical Center

About the role

Vituity seeks entry-level scribes to gain hands-on experience working alongside frontline physicians. This program offers great opportunities for students preparing for medical, PA, or NP school, and provides outstanding networking and resume-building opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Gain firsthand exposure to a clinical setting.
• Work one-on-one with physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Develop proficiency in medical terminology.
• Build professional relationships and mentorship opportunities.
• Complete a scribe application test, if required.

Requirements

• Responsible and mature demeanor with a passion for medicine.
• Strong writing skills.
• Quick and accurate typing speed.
• Experience with medical terminology, human anatomy, and physiology is preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, and work in a stressful and fast-paced environment.
• One-year commitment at this site.
• Excellent follow-through and self-motivation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a scribe application test, if required.
• Ability to work 2-3 shifts per week, including weekends and holidays.

• Base salary range: $18.00, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses.

Schedule

Shifts are typically 8 hours long, Monday through Friday, with additional weekend and holiday coverage.

Pay

The hourly rate for this role is $19.28. Final base salary compensation will be determined based on skills, education, and experience.
