Screenwriter - ReelShort (Contractor)

Responsibilities

• Read web novels to understand their themes and plots, and use them as references for writing original screenplays
• Analyze content and data to identify issues and lay out plans for optimization
• Write original content and occasionally collaborate on published content
• Utilize data to enhance in-app retention, book retention optimization, chapter conversion, new user tutorials, and marketing promotions
• Provide constructive feedback and foster team collaboration

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of screenwriting experience
• Strong creative screenwriting skills, particularly in romance and drama
• Bachelor's degree in History, English, Fine Arts, Screenwriting, or a related field
• Comfortable writing young adult romance/drama, which may include sensitive and triggering content
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong interest in reading novels
• Comprehensive knowledge of the online reading or publishing industry, both historical and current
• Prior experience in the field is a plus
• Ability to work well under pressure and possess strong interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work across different time zones
• Eagerness to learn and gain experience in the gaming and content industry
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
