Scorpion Bar Foxwoods - Server

Brief Description

A typical day might include greeting guests with a welcoming smile and friendly demeanor, attending to guests and taking food and/or beverage orders, ensuring orders are accurate and served promptly, anticipating and fulfilling guest needs, preparing guest checks and collecting payments, resolving service issues with empathy, monitoring guest alcohol consumption, promoting Big Night Entertainment Group restaurants and venues, maintaining a clean and well-stocked work environment, and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 1 year previous server experience in a fast-paced bar/restaurant
• Current TIPS or other recognized Alcohol Certification
• Working another position in addition to this role during non-nightlife hours, such as hosting or bottle service
• Presenting a polished, high-energy, and professional image that aligns with and positively represents the Big Night Entertainment Group brand
• Efficient and accurate communication skills
• Building guest loyalty with an outgoing and friendly personality
• Excellent memory and ability to multitask
• Flexible work schedule with night, weekend, and holiday availability
• A positive attitude and aptitude to handle high-stress environments

Physical Demands / Work Environment / Hours

The workplace can have moderate to high stress levels. May be required to lift or move up to 30 lbs using proper lifting techniques and withstand long hours on your feet in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Non-typical hours will be customary including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
