Scorpion Bar Boston - Security Officer

Brief Description

A typical day might include greeting guests, checking identification, enforcing dress codes, monitoring alcohol consumption, promoting the company, handling situations, and ensuring safety.

Requirements

• At least 1 year previous security experience in a high-volume, upscale food and beverage environment and/or nightclub
• Pass Big Night Entertainment Group's requirements in regards to legal background check
• TIPS or other recognized Alcohol Certification is preferred and will be required if chosen for the position
• Present a neat and professional appearance
• Communicate effectively and accurately with customers, the public, and co-workers
• Demonstrate teamwork with other staff members
• Show flexibility with schedule including availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Work on your feet for extended periods of time
• Lift up to 75 lbs using proper lifting techniques
• Proven ability to de-escalate issues
