SCN Platform Coordinator

Responsibilities

The SCN Platform Lead is responsible for coordinating all aspects of platform execution, including acquisition planning, financial management, procurement, logistics, engineering coordination, installation planning, and lifecycle support to ensure successful delivery of CANES capabilities from planning through shipboard installation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Program Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience supporting DoD acquisition, Navy shipbuilding, systems integration, or program management.
  • Experience supporting Shipbuilding and Conversion, Navy (SCN) funded programs.
  • Knowledge of the Department of Defense acquisition lifecycle and Navy program management processes.
  • Experience supporting PEO C4I, NAVSEA, PMW organizations, or similar Navy acquisition commands.
  • Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders across government, industry, shipyards, and technical teams.
  • Experience preparing and maintaining acquisition documentation, financial reports, schedules, and technical deliverables.
  • Knowledge of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) management and lifecycle logistics.
  • Experience developing Statements of Work (SOWs), technical requirements, and installation planning documentation.
  • Experience preparing executive briefings, status reports, and customer presentations.
  • Experience tracking project schedules, milestones, and program execution metrics.

Qualifications

  • U.S. citizen and eligible for a Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance.

Skills

  • Preferred but not required: Experience supporting CANES, ISNS, ADNS, or other Navy C4ISR systems.
  • Previous experience supporting DDG-51, CG-47, LPD, LHA/LHD, or other U.S. Navy surface combatant programs.
  • Knowledge of NAVSEA ship construction and modernization processes.
  • Experience with Navy ERP, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), or government financial management systems.
  • PMP certification.
  • DAWIA or Defense Acquisition Workforce certification.
  • Experience supporting Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
