Responsibilities

• Routine screening of compounds in various in vitro ADME assays
• Maintaining mammalian cells
• Training opportunities for high throughput screening, cell culture, and LC-MS/MS
• Planning and conducting high and low throughput in vitro ADME assays
• Processing data to a high quality of standards within specified time frames
• Aiding in validation and investigative assays
• Monitoring and maintaining stock consumables as required
• Assisting with the validation and routine maintenance of laboratory equipment
• Providing support to the Senior Scientist, Laboratory Supervisors, and Senior Research Scientist when troubleshooting
• Identifying support requirements within their group and managing their own time to provide this support
• Fulfilling safety regulations and quality control procedures
• Reporting any issues of concern and discussing scientific strategy with the Laboratory Supervisor and/or Senior Research Scientist

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant Biological or Chemical scientific discipline
• At least 5 years of experience working within industry (pharma or CRO)
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• The ability to troubleshoot and multitask under pressure of deadlines

• Plate-based screening experience
• Cell culture experience
• LC-MS/MS experience

Pay

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $66,375 to $90,325. This is a salaried exempt position. Base salary offered may vary depending on the individual’s skills, experience, and competitive market value.
