Scientist - Rare Disease Biology

We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? Actually the posting includes mission description at top, then "Scientist - Rare Disease Biology" title, then "What you will do", "Key Responsibilities", "What we expect of you" (which includes Basic Qualifications, Preferred Qualifications), "What you can expect from us" (benefits, salary, etc). We must not repeat job title as heading. Use

for section headings: e.g., About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We need to map content accordingly. We need to preserve all substantive info, remove boilerplate (cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, application instructions). Also remove lines like "Apply now and make a lasting impact with the Amgen team. careers.amgen.com" etc. Also remove the EEO statements, accommodation request, etc. Also remove the "In any materials you submit..." etc. Also remove the "Application deadline..." etc. Also remove "Sponsorship..." etc. Also remove repeated EEO lines. We need to include sections only when posting has real specific content. So we need sections: About the role (maybe the mission description?), Responsibilities (Key Responsibilities), Requirements (Basic Qualifications?), Qualifications (Preferred Qualifications?), Skills (maybe combine?), Benefits (What you can expect from us includes benefits), Pay (salary range mentioned), Schedule (maybe not present; we should not create if not present). The posting mentions "expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted." but does not give actual numbers. It says "Actual salary will vary based on several factors". It does not give a specific range. According to rule: never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g., "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD") and never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. Since salary range is not given (just says it's posted but not provided), we should not create Pay section. Benefits: they mention "In Addition To The Base Salary, Amgen Offers a Total Rewards Plan, Based On Eligibility, Comprising Of Health And Welfare Plans For Staff And Eligible Dependents, Financial Plans With Opportunities To Save Towards Retirement Or Other Goals, Work/life Balance, And Career Development Opportunities That May Include A comprehensive employee benefits package, including a Retirement and Savings Plan with generous company contributions, group medical, dental and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, and flexible spending accounts A discretionary annual bonus program, or for field sales representatives, a sales-based incentive plan Stock-based long-term incentives Award-winning time-off plans Flexible work models where possible." That's substantive benefits description. So we can include Benefits section. Schedule: not mentioned, so omit. We also need About the role: The mission description at top could be considered About the role. It's substantive. We'll put that in

About the role

with

paragraphs. Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities list. We'll put

Responsibilities

with
  • each. Requirements: Basic Qualifications. We'll put

    Requirements

    with

    maybe list? Could be

but it's not a list of duties; it's qualifications. Could treat as Requirements section with

describing basic qualifications. Or we could split Requirements and Qualifications: Basic Qualifications as Requirements, Preferred Qualifications as Qualifications. We'll do that. Skills: maybe we could include some skills from Preferred Qualifications? But we already have Qualifications section. The instruction says use headings like Skills if there is content. We could put Skills under Qualifications? But we have separate headings: Requirements, Qualifications, Skills. We could put Preferred Qualifications under Qualifications, and maybe Skills under Skills (like specific skills: expertise in fibroblast biology, etc). However Preferred Qualifications already list expertise and experience; we could treat them as Qualifications. Skills could be things like "Strong quantitative and data-analysis skills", "Ability to combine experimental and computational approaches", etc. But to avoid too many thin sections, we can combine Preferred Qualifications and Skills into Qualifications section. The instruction: "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." So we can have About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Benefits. That's five sections. We must not include Pay or Schedule. Now we need to strip boilerplate: The EEO statements, accommodation request, application deadline, sponsorship, etc. Also remove duplicated lines like "Amgen is an Equal Opportunity employer..." repeated. Also remove "Refer to the Work Location Type in the job posting to see if this applies." etc. Also remove "Apply now and make a lasting impact with the Amgen team. careers.amgen.com". Also remove "In any materials you submit, you may redact or remove age-identifying information..." etc. Also remove "Application deadline Amgen anticipates accepting applications until September 16th, 2026; however, we may continue accepting applications beyond this date if we do not receive a sufficient number of candidates." Also remove "Sponsorship Sponsorship for this role is not guaranteed." etc. Also remove the repeated EEO lines at end. Now we need to preserve all substantive information: mission paragraph, "What you will do" paragraph, Key Responsibilities list, Basic Qualifications paragraph, Preferred Qualifications paragraph, Benefits description. We also need to keep the line "As we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for your professional and personal growth and well-being. From our competitive benefits to our collaborative culture, well support your journey every step of the way." That's part of Benefits section. We also need to keep the sentence about "The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications." Since we are not making Pay section, we could maybe include that in Benefits? But it's about pay; we could include a brief note in Benefits? However rule says never create Pay section unless posting actually states them. It does state that salary range is posted but not give numbers. It's vague. Safer to omit any pay mention. But we might include a short note in Benefits? Might be considered filler. Better to omit. Now we need to format. Let's craft HTML:

We need to ensure no stray boilerplate. Also ensure we didn't include any mention of "Apply now" etc. Also ensure we didn't include any EEO lines. Check for any leftover: The mission paragraph includes "Join Amgens Mission of Serving Patients At Amgen, if you feel like youre part of something bigger, its because you are." We corrected punctuation. Now output only HTML
