About the role

Performing analytical testing using instrumentation including, but not limited to, Cell Culture, pH, Conductivity, Bioreactors, and Autoclave. May use analytical methods such as statistically analyzing large data sets and drafting technical reports to support commercial filings, participating in investigations, and documenting test results in notebooks and reports.

Responsibilities

  • Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
  • Adheres to the highest quality standards in all areas of responsibility
  • Meets all quality and productivity metrics and demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration
  • Ensures regular attendance and punctuality
  • Conducts routine analytical testing with good dexterity, laboratory techniques, and a high degree of accuracy and precision
  • Documents test parameters, observations, deviations, and results clearly and completely
  • Understands and performs calculations as required by test methods
  • Utilizes computers for information access, calculations, and report preparation
  • Reads and understands analytical procedures (compendia and client-supplied) and internal SOPs
  • Prepares reagents, samples, and standards according to procedures
  • Participates in conducting investigations when assigned
  • Performs laboratory maintenance and housekeeping as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related Life Sciences field
  • Ability to perform laboratory tasks requiring manual dexterity and precision
  • Knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and analytical testing
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
  • Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to safety and quality

Schedule

Full-time, first-shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

Pay

$22.50 – $25.00 per hour.
