About the role

The role is part of Syngenta Seeds, a global leader in seed development and production. The position focuses on improving crop yields and seed quality through innovative technologies and processes.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement strategies to enhance seed production and quality
• Design, execute, and analyze experiments to introduce new technologies in seeds production
• Influence changes within the seed supply chain and agriculture to make farming more sustainable
• Develop and manage the NA seeds production field & process technology project portfolio
• Coordinate and execute daily field & process technology activities
• Lead the NA SPR Pollen Lab, focusing on efficiency and data quality improvements
• Assure proper execution of field activities, including planting, plot maintenance, and harvest

Qualifications

• Graduate degree preferred but can be supplemented with significant relevant experience
• Extensive knowledge of seeds production across various crops (3+ years of industry experience)
• Strong understanding of experimental design and statistical analysis
• Practical experience with AI-driven tools and a willingness to apply them for continuous improvement
• Excellent organizational, planning, and leadership skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
• Lean Six Sigma certification desired
