About the role
Conduct hands-on laboratory research to investigate intracellular pathways involved in immune cell phenotype, tissue migration, and inflammation. Apply molecular biology, biochemistry, and cellular immunology approaches to characterize disease pathways and validate therapeutic targets. Support multidisciplinary research programs focused on immunology and therapeutic target discovery.
Responsibilities
- Isolate immune cells from human blood for downstream experimental analysis.
- Perform in vitro immunological assays and multidimensional flow cytometry experiments.
- Analyze cellular pathways and immune phenotypes.
Requirements
- PhD or equivalent degree in Immunology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
Skills
- Primary immune cell isolation from human blood.
- Cellular and molecular immunology techniques.
- In vitro immunological assays.
- Multidimensional flow cytometry.
- Molecular biology and biochemical laboratory techniques.
Preferred Skills
- Cell engineering, including protein overexpression and CRISPR-mediated knockout techniques.
- Rodent tissue collection (colon, spleen, lymph nodes, bone marrow).
- Single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) data analysis.
- Bulk RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) data analysis.
