Scientist II
Job Description
We are seeking a Scientist II with expertise in chemistry and a strong understanding of HPLC and LC/MS. Experience in PET radiochemistry is preferred. This contractor role will support PET tracer metabolite analysis and routine radiotracer production activities.
Support the setup and optimization of HPLC systems for metabolite analysis of PET tracers.
Perform the daily operation of HPLC systems used for metabolite analysis.
Conduct routine PET radiotracer production activities.
Independently establish HPLC methods and ensure that systems are robust, reliable, and properly maintained.
Document experimental procedures, results, and laboratory activities in accordance with applicable standards.
Follow all relevant laboratory safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related scientific discipline with at least five years of experience;
- or Master's degree in chemistry or a related scientific discipline with at least three years of research experience
- Must have experience with HPLC and LC/MS.
- Required experience with setting up, optimizing, and maintaining HPLC systems.
- Preferred experience with radiotracer production or analytical characterization of PET tracers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in PET radiochemistry.
