Scientist I (Microbiology) - Eurofins Environment Testing, Pomona, CA

About the role

Eurofins Drinking Water and Wastewater West, LLC, the largest potable water testing laboratory in the US, has a Scientist I opening at our Pomona Laboratory in the Microbiology department. This is a full-time entry-level position, 40 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Routine coliform and HPC analysis
• Perform Legionella, Enterococcus, Pseudomonas analysis
• Quality Control responsibilities
• Perform data process, data entry and written documentation and validation
• Perform client notification
• Media making tasks

Requirements

• Two years of college-level science courses, preferably with labs
• Availability for weekday/weekend position with possible overtime and holidays
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Professional working proficiency in English (read, write, speak)
• Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Pomona, CA

Schedule

Two shift options, Monday to Friday with rotating weekends and holidays:

• 10:00 am – 6:30 pm
• 11:00 am – 7:30 pm

Training takes place Monday to Friday, 9:30 am – 6:00 pm.

Pay

Compensation range: $22.20 – $27.00 per hour (DOE). Actual base compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skill set, internal peer compensation, business sector, and geographic location.
