Responsibilities

  • Design and execute experiments and analyze data to further product development and research goals.
  • Define computational pipelines for protein structure determination using structural and sequence-based methods coupled with AI, eg Rosetta.
  • Create computational workflows for protein-target interactions, including enzyme and DNA/RNA interactions.
  • Provide feedback to the management team to identify, develop, and execute initiatives.
  • Present findings and roadblocks to internal teams and offer recommendations for project advancement.

Qualifications

  • PhD in structural biology, biochemistry, computational biology etc with 0-4+ years of experience.
  • Strong publications/patents on protein prediction or de novo protein design, including enzyme engineering.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Leadership skills with demonstrated knowledge and understanding of management practices and processes.
  • Experience Protein modeling, including protein-target interactions.
  • AI and machine-learning methods are desirable.
  • Proven record of staying current in the protein engineering field.
  • Demonstrated propensity to be creative, collaborative, and proactive.
  • Exceptional communication skills and supervisory experience.
