Scientist
The role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate scientist to collaborate closely with our dynamic team in developing groundbreaking technologies and validating innovative products. In this role, you will drive the research for integrating CST's antibodies with new and cutting-edge technologies. Specifically, your expertise will be instrumental in propelling the development of new products using orthogonal assays. This requires critical thinking about experimental design, data analysis, and future directions. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated scientist to flourish within a supportive and collaborative team. This is an onsite role.
Essential duties and responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize current proximity assays using DNA-conjugated antibodies to achieve high sensitivity protein readout.
Design, perform, and optimize experiments including Western blotting, PCR/qPCR, Flow Cytometry, Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), and cell culture-based experiments to support the team initiatives.
Validate newly developed assays by analyzing experimental results, troubleshooting issues, and refining protocols to ensure robust and reproducible data.
Implement rigorous quality control for all experimental steps, including reagent selection and workflow standardization.
Analyze experimental data using appropriate statistical and bioinformatics methods to extract meaningful conclusions.
Maintain accurate, detailed laboratory records and experimental documentation in compliance with company standards.
Present data and findings in team meetings, providing scientific rationale for next steps.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and execute experiments aligned with project goals.
Share scientific insights and progress updates with internal stakeholders to drive decision-making and project advancement.
Contribute to the preparation of internal reports and presentations of research findings.
Stay current with advancements in single-cell analysis, DNA-conjugated antibody applications, and cellular signaling research.
Identify opportunities for integrating new techniques or technologies to enhance assay capabilities and project outcomes.
Maintain laboratory equipment, follow safety protocols, and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Support day-to-day lab operations, including reagent preparation and inventory management.
Who you are and what you bring to the team
