About the role

The R&D Chemist will play a crucial role in developing a line of resins that address both sustainability and regulatory concerns. This role involves managing and driving both short-term and long-term projects to ensure the development of resins that meet customer application requirements. The position also requires collaboration across various departments to resolve customer issues, improve quality, and enhance overall productivity.

Responsibilities

• Manage and drive both short-term and long-term projects to completion, involving technology development/formulation modifications to meet customer application requirements
• Collaborate across groups to help resolve customer issues, including quality issues and improving overall productivity and efficiency
• Effectively communicate throughout the organization
• Up to 20% travel may be required

Requirements

• Level of education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in chemistry with a minimum of 3 years industrial experience preferred
• Self-motivated, well-organized, persistent, team-oriented, and adept at multi-tasking
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Effective project management skills and use of statistical experimental design practices
