The Position

The Opportunity

• Generate high-quality, reproducible data to advance exploratory oncology targets into clinical development.
• Design, execute, and analyze complex flow cytometry experiments, serving as a key technical resource for the team.
• Build, optimize, and troubleshoot large multicolor flow cytometry panels for deep immunophenotyping.
• Perform meticulous, high-precision analysis on challenging samples, with a focus on low cell count analysis.
• Perform routine cell culture using both primary cells and established cell lines.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with diverse project teams to share insights, present data, and support strategic decision-making.

Who You Are

You

• Hold a PhD in Immunology, Oncology, or a closely related scientific discipline (Postdoctoral experience is a plus).
• Bring proven expertise in advanced flow cytometry, including building large multicolor panels and analyzing low-input samples.
• Possess a solid scientific foundation in immunology and hands-on experience with primary cell and cell line cultures.
• Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail with the adaptability to pivot as project priorities evolve.
• Bring strong communication and interpersonal skills, thriving as an engaged, collaborative team player.

Preferred Experience

• In cell therapy and in vivo mouse models are welcome, but not required.

Pay & Benefits

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco, CA is $103,400 - $192,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
