Scientific Writer

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Scientific Writer to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will focus on developing clear, scientifically rigorous content that supports nonclinical drug development and regulatory submissions. You will synthesize complex pharmacology, PK, and PD data into narratives that help advance programs through key development milestones. The position partners closely with scientists and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate messaging, timely delivery, and consistent documentation across assigned programs.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Independently author nonclinical PK/PD study reports and eCTD summaries
• Lead development of integrated regulatory narratives synthesizing PK, PD, and mechanistic data
• Collaborate with scientists to ensure consistent PK/PD messaging
• Coordinate data inputs, reviews, and stakeholder communications for timely deliverables
• Drive process improvements through authoring guidance and workflow optimization
• Serve as the scientific writing lead for assigned programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences; advanced degree (MS or PhD) preferred
• Experience in scientific and regulatory writing for nonclinical development
• Familiarity with pharmacology, PK, and PD data
• Knowledge of drug development and eCTD guidelines
• Proficiency in document authoring and collaboration tools in regulated settings

Pay

$109,900 – $179,300 annually
