Scientific Services Veterinarian- Seattle, WA/ Portland, OR

About the role

This remote role will serve as a scientific and technical resource supporting veterinary professionals, specialty referral hospitals, and strategic account relationships across the region. The position will partner closely with field sales teams to strengthen category growth, deliver training, and build advocacy through trusted scientific communication. It is a highly customer-facing role that blends veterinary expertise, relationship management, and conference representation to support business growth in a competitive market.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with field sales teams to drive recommendations and sales growth
• Support nutrition category growth through relationships with specialty referral hospitals
• Build relationships with regional leadership to support strategic accounts
• Develop key opinion leader networks to strengthen advocacy
• Deliver best-in-class training on nutrition to veterinary professionals
• Foster business growth through collaboration with sales teams
• Serve as a trusted technical resource for veterinarians
• Represent the company at veterinary conferences and events

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (VMD) with an active state license
• 3+ years of experience in veterinary practice, including internships and residency
• Exceptional scientific communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and OneNote
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively, 50-75%
• Flexibility for travel during nights and weekends
