The Scientific Business Analyst will play a key role in helping life sciences organizations optimize laboratory operations through innovative informatics solutions. This position combines scientific expertise, business analysis, and technology consulting to translate customer needs into effective digital workflows. You will work closely with scientists, laboratory teams, and technical stakeholders to design solutions that improve research efficiency and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working within life sciences, preferably in a laboratory environment involving the introduction of new technology solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in a life science discipline such as molecular biology, chemistry, or a related field.
- Previous experience working with LIMS, ELN, SDMS, or similar laboratory informatics systems.
- Strong understanding of laboratory workflows, scientific processes, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience managing external stakeholders and building effective relationships across technical and business teams.
- Ability to lead customer workshops, gather requirements, and document business outcomes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, interviewing, and data analysis skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation abilities.
- Experience creating process documentation and translating complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and CRM platforms.
- Leverage Lean Six Sigma qualification or experience to support solution delivery.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with strong self-management and accountability.
- Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.
