Science Teacher Full Time

About the role

The following position is available for the 2026-27 school year: Science Teacher Full Time.

Responsibilities

• Teach science courses to students in grades 6-8.
• Instruct students on core science concepts aligned with the state standards.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that are engaging and effective.
• Assess student learning through various methods including quizzes, tests, and projects.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance curriculum and support student success.
• Maintain accurate records and report on student progress as required.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in science or a related field.
• A valid secondary education teaching license with an endorsement in Science Core (6-8).
• At least two years of successful teaching experience at the middle school level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and maintain positive relationships with students and parents.
