About the role

The following position is available for the 2026-27 school year: Science Teacher Full Time.

Responsibilities

• Teach Earth Science to students in grades 6-8.
• Instruct students on the science core curriculum.
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards.
• Mentor and support students' academic and personal growth.
• Participate in department meetings and collaborate with colleagues.
• Assess student progress through various methods and provide feedback.

Requirements

• A valid secondary education endorsement in Earth Science.
• A bachelor's degree in Earth Science or a related field.
• Experience teaching Earth Science at the middle school level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Pass a background check.
• Knowledge of current educational technology and its integration into teaching practices.
