Science Teacher Full Time

About the role

The following position is available for the 2026-27 school year: Science Teacher Full Time.

Responsibilities

• Teach Earth Science to students in grades 6-8.
• Instruct students on the Science Core curriculum.
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards.
• Mentor and support student academic and personal growth.
• Participate in department meetings and professional development activities.

Requirements

• A valid secondary education endorsement in Earth Science.
• A bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience teaching Earth Science at the middle school level preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
• Pass a background check.

Skills

• Effective classroom management skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.

Pay

Salary range: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
