Science Teacher

About the role

Scheck Hillel School is experiencing exciting growth and is looking to build a pool of talented Science educators for its upper school (grades 6th-12th).

Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing yet challenging learning environment for students.
• Teach science courses in grades 6-12.
• Implement effective teaching strategies based on pedagogical practices and learning theories.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student learning experiences.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
• A Master's degree is preferred.
• At least 3 years of teaching experience in an Upper school setting (grades 6-12).
• A valid teaching certification is preferred.

• Passionate about creating a nurturing yet challenging learning environment for students.
• Strong knowledge of pedagogical practices and learning theories.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
