About This Role
Peachtree Academy in Covington, GA is seeking a Middle School Science Teacher for the Fall 2026 school year. This role pays $35,000 – $45,000/Yr and requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Education, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging lessons, labs, projects, and classroom discussions
- Evaluate and grade class work, assignments, papers, and exams
- Prepare syllabi, instructional materials, and coursework
- Maintain attendance, grades, and student records
- Provide after-class support and academic guidance to students
- Plan and revise curriculum and instructional methods
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and administration
- Participate in school activities, student support, and community-building efforts
- Support the Christian mission and positive culture of the school
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Education, or related field
- Teaching experience preferred
- Passion for student success and hands-on learning
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Compensation
