Science Teacher

Fusion Academy is a fully accredited 1-to-1 private school for grades 5–12. As a Science Teacher, you'll have the flexibility to shape your schedule, design creative lessons, and collaborate with passionate colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Teach in a truly personalized way — one student at a time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of science courses (Earth, Physical, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, Earth Space, Anatomy & Physiology, Marine Biology, & Zoology), following content standards — curriculum and resources provided.
• Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
• Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.

Pay

USD $27.30 - USD $27.30 /Hr.

Schedule

This position would be part-time to start, but with plans to grow it to full-time.
