About the role

The Council Bluffs Community School District is seeking an experienced Science Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year at Wilson Middle School.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards
• Assess student learning through various methods including quizzes, tests, and projects
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary units and share best practices
• Provide differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all students
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills
• Maintain accurate records and report grades as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
• Valid teaching license in Iowa
• Experience teaching middle school science
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

Pay

$50,012.00 (BA/0 Years of Experience) and increases based on degree and experience
