Science Specialist - Freelance AI Trainer Project

Responsibilities

• Challenge advanced language models on topics like energy transformation, atomic structure, planetary motion, ecological systems, the water cycle, and scientific inquiry.
• Document every failure mode encountered during interactions with the model.
• Verify factual accuracy and logical soundness of the model's responses.
• Capture reproducible error traces and provide detailed explanations for each case.
• Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics based on observed performance.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in a science field.
• Experience in teaching, publishing work, conducting lab or field research, or engaging in science communication projects.
• Clear, metacognitive communication skills to explain your thought process and reasoning.

Pay

A pay range of $8 to $65 per hour, with the exact rate determined after evaluating your experience, expertise, and geographic location. Final offer amounts may vary from the pay range listed above.
