Science, Math Teacher or Special Education

Job Description

Full-time position at a year-round adolescent residential treatment center in Northwestern Montana. The center seeks a Science or Math teacher with a bachelor's degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties of a Science or Math classroom teacher
• Develops and prepares lesson plans and instructional materials
• Maintains records and reports regarding each student's attendance and educational development
• Follows behavioral management plans, policies, and procedures and reports occurrences correctly
• Meets with faculty, parents or families
• Participates in school events, graduations, and group activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution
• Professional teacher education requirements of school, district, state
• Math or Science subject teaching credential or certification
• Teaching experience

Qualifications

• Knowledge of relevant technology
