In this role, you will lead a supportive high school classroom, provide engaging and individualized instruction, and work alongside a teaching assistant and a multidisciplinary team. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Current Arkansas teaching certification in Special Education preferred
- Math certification or demonstrated experience teaching high school mathematics will also be considered
- Experience working with students with learning differences, disabilities, or individualized learning needs strongly preferred
- Ability to interpret student data and academic assessments
- Experience developing and implementing individualized education or behavior-support plans
- Strong classroom-management, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with families and multidisciplinary professionals
- A genuine commitment to helping students build skills, confidence, and independence
