About the role

Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy seeks a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree certified Lower School Science Lab Teacher to bring hands-on science learning to life as part of our health sciences mission.

Responsibilities

• Design engaging, inquiry-based lab experiences
• Support early scientific literacy
• Contribute to a positive school culture
• Lead extracurricular student activities (optional)

Requirements

Two (2)+ years of experience working with children in a school setting is preferred.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field is required.

Skills

Strong skills in designing engaging, inquiry-based lab experiences, supporting early scientific literacy, and leading extracurricular student activities are desired.
