SCI PT Supervisor (Full-Time) Jefferson Moss-Magee Elkins Park

About the role

The SCI PT Supervisor manages the physical therapy team for the spinal cord injury program. They participate in hiring decisions, staff development, and the performance review process. They manage the day-to-day operations and work with interdisciplinary team members for program development. They participate in the Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency program.

Responsibilities

• Participates in hiring decisions, staff development, and the performance review process.
• Manages the day-to-day operations and works with interdisciplinary team members for program development.
• Participates in the Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency program.
• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
• Supports the implementation and coordination projects and process improvement of the Spinal Cord Program ensuring alignment with the program objectives.
• Attends official conferences and keeps the department informed of changes and updates.
• Develops and implements best practices for SCI rehabilitation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Experience 6 years of clinical experience with supervisory experience required.
• Valid state license in Physical Therapy.
• BLS, CPR certification required via AHA.

• Commensurate with operational needs of the unit/service line.
